Catalina Chervin is among the winners of the Argentinian National Award for Artistic Career Achievement.
The National Award for Artistic Career Achievement recognises artists over 60 with significant careers who have made decisive contributions to the country's art. The winning artists receive a lifetime pension equivalent to five minimum retirement benefits and donate a significant work from their production to the national government. The donated works, which are of great heritage value, become part of the National Museum of Fine Arts (MNBA) collection.
The 16 winning artists were selected from more than one hundred applicants.
